Summary of this Project:
Based on the fitness levels of Hwa Chong Institution students, as shown from NAPFA results and surveys done, it has shown how this project is key and definitely going to be needed in order to see improvements. In addition, survey results shown how a majority of students actually want to keep fit but are unsure of how to do so. Therefore, with a resource package including a website, a Facebook page and guided training sessions, we are confident of doing so, assisting others to reach their fitness goals, be it to achieve a Gold for NAPFA, improve CCA performance, or just keeping fit in general. Therefore, with this three pronged approach, including great detail and accurate instructions, like videos, comprehensive information and the actual guided sessions, we hope to achieve our objectives and see an improvement in students.
During the course of the project, we have managed to get many students to be part of the training sessions, volunteers to help out with training sessions and did a lot of research in compiling and choosing relevant information to make the website. As the project continues, we are still tracking the progress of the students as they work hard to achieve their goals. From the feedback we have gotten, we are very encouraged and spurred on to carry on with the project to help more people. If successful, we hope to branch this project out to a larger target audience, maybe to teachers, students of other schools or even the general public in time to come.
