Refer to the cardio exercises and routines that we provided to improve in your 2.4km run.
- On command, run or walk on a firm and level ground for 2.4km (1.5 miles) in the shortest time possible. A stadium track is recommended
- The time, to the nearest 1 second, is the performance score
- Rest during run is permitted
Training tips :
- To improve your timing for 2.4 km run, we would recommend that you run further distances such as 4km if you want to clinch the gold for this component.
- In your run, you should pace yourself such that you run the fastest in the last lap.
- You can find a partner who is faster than you in 2.4 km and try to pace with him/her to improve
- Breathing is the most important factor in determining your speed, use your breathing to judge how fast you should run.
